Four steps to crafting a winning brand identity.
At MVMNT, we believe that designing or refreshing your brand should be one of the most enjoyable things you do as a company. That’s of course, alongside making those you serve very happy, or for some, making lots of money 🙂
Our approach has been specifically designed to enable open conversation, effective collaboration, creative processes and outstanding results that directly meet our clients’ needs. Every project we work on is very much a partnership, with our clients involved at every step of the way.
So, without further ado, this is what you can expect when working with us on your brand…
Part 1 – Discover
To kick things off, let’s get to know each other. We start with an open, honest conversation about what’s brought you to this point. We’ll explore your journey so far – where you started, what’s happened since, what pain points you have and where you’re trying to get to. We can now start to piece together the roadmap to help you achieve your ambitions. This is also your chance to get to know us a little better and ask any questions you might have.
Part 2 – Define
Once we’ve got things up and running, we can really start to get under the skin of your organisation. Our workshops are designed to get you thinking differently about the personality we’re trying to capture and who we’re looking to engage and amaze with your new brand.
Our clients consistently love this phase. They so rarely get the chance to take time out of their day-to-day and explore their identity and personality.
This is also where we do an in-depth study into what’s happening in your market…the current landscape, your competitors and what the future may hold.
We now have everything we need to produce a final creative brief for your new brand.
Part 3 – Design & Develop
This is where the fun really starts. Having explored the personality & identity we’re looking to capture, we now play with ways we can bring this to life. We get our coloured pens out and start coming up with ideas for the visual side of your brand. The best of our scribbles will be developed into concepts for you to choose from, one of which will be developed further into your final brand.
You get consulted every step of the way as we develop a final design that then gets rolled out into your full brand suite. What this brand suite includes changes from client to client but could be any combination of logo suite, image library, colour palette, typography, straplines, social templates, report design, textures, business card design and more.
In the meantime, we’ll be developing your brand voice guidance that will go in your full brand style guide.
At this point, we’ll also ‘stress test’ the design – making sure it’s fit for purpose and suitably accessible.
Part 4 – Deliver
All that’s left to do once you have your brand suite in your hands is get it out there for all to see. We can support you at every stage of your brand launch, ensuring that you get in front of the people you want. This can include marketing campaigns, web development, videos and much more. We’re also always available for ongoing support whenever you need it.
And that’s it! We take a huge amount of pride in our brand process and do everything we can to make it exciting, fun and, most importantly, ensure the final product surpasses all expectations. If you’re ready to start your own journey then be sure to get in touch.
Let’s have some fun!
